Metro, museums, shops, airport closed. People wandered in the middle of the road, emergency services in need of help themselves. Everything at snails pace. Told to stay at home. Surely, we couldn&#8217;t take that seriously: adventure!<\/p>\n<p>We found the snow, but failed to see the &#8220;storm&#8221;-bit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/barebente.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0282aW.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-938\" title=\"snowstorm in washington D.C\" alt=\"IMG_0282aW\" src=\"http:\/\/barebente.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0282aW.jpg\" width=\"572\" height=\"601\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sisyphus.
